Since 2003, Couture Fashion Week has presented a series of couture and luxury fashion shows multiple times each year in New York City, Palm Beach, and other selected cities.
The 18th fabulous season of Couture Fashion Week will held September 5-8, 2013 at the landmark New Yorker Hotel. For the upcoming season, CFW has added a full extra day to the schedule, as well as an additional show time on Saturday afternoon. A dazzling roster of top-notch designers and performers is being scheduled.
New York-based designer Laurel DeWitt showcased her latest metal couture creations for her LaureLuxe label at Couture Fashion Week in New York City at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 19, 2012. The runway show was held in the famous Grand Ballroom of the luxurious Waldorf Astoria hotel on Park Avenue.
Laurel Mae DeWitt is the designer and creator of the LaureLuxe brand. A native New Yorker, Ms. DeWitt has a youthful creativity and craftiness that can only be described as fantastically bold. Her drive is to continuously evolve and push all boundaries. To her, metal knows no limits.
Ms. DeWitt holds a degree in fashion design from the prestigious Pratt Art Institute with an emphasis on jewelry and accessories. Her distinctive creations strike a harmonious balance between the two. She has served as a handbag and accessories designer for Guess, Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, Nine West, Anne Klein, Oscar De La Renta Intimate Apparel, FILA and Rocawear. Her fashion bags can be found at major retailers such as Nordstrom’s, Target, Forever 21 and Wal-Mart.
