make her a diva. Her outspoken-ness makes her a kick-ass attorney. Her bold-ness
made her an entrepreneur. And her sense of humor allows her to keep her sanity
as she juggles her own law practice and her own online magazine.
I want to re-define what it means to be LATINA.
With the realization that the media will paint a false picture of my reality.
With innovation in trying to shake and challenge the status quo.
In being and acting and demanding the change I want to see.
I want to re-define what it means to be LATINA.
Because I am outside the status quo--- or so they make us believe.
And how did I get here? By never taking no for an answer.
By realizing that I am no different than anyone else.
By understanding that I deserve more!
I want to re-define what it means to be LATINA.
Because if I'm not ur “typical latina” then either
1- im not *really* latina. Or 2- ur definition is flawed.
And since I really am LATINA then ur definition must be flawed.
Therefore you must change your definition.
I want to re-define what it means to be LATINA.
Because as I Live the American Dream I Vividly Act Latina
Hence, the acronym: L.A. D.I.V.A. L.A.T.I.N.A.
