Judge Rules Hispanic Voting Rights Were Violated

Port chester, New York, just 25 miles from NYC with a population of about 50% Hispanic has violated the Voting Rights act of Hispanics.

A U.S. judge ruled Port Chester's election system denies equal participation for Hispanics in violation of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, the landmark law associated with the civil rights movement of the 1960s. "The at-large election system for electing members of the board of trustees prevents Hispanic voters from participating equally in the political process in the village," Judge Robinson wrote in the 56-page ruling. Robinson ordered the Justice Department and the village to submit proposed solutions.

If this doesn't make you go out there and VOTE, nothing will.

Bobby Brown's No Show at Divorce Court

Whitney Houston Divorce Unchallenged Due to Brown's No Show

Request from Brown to appeal for spousal supportand shared custody of their 14-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina was denied due to no appearance by Bobby Brown. Brown was not given any financial settlement and had only visitation rights after Houston won a default judgment in April 2007. His no show was probably not much of a surprise, however Whitney Houston surprised and amazed fans by making a public comeback at the Swarovski Fashion Rocks event in London in late December. Houston, who had flown in from New York looked glamorous and healthy at the event! It was just such a well-kept secret, no-one had an inkling she was going to be there. Next fans are awaiting for a dazzling comeback. CD set to hit the stores in April.

Let's keep our fingers crossed that Whitney does make a comeback!

SNOT-NOSED KID GOES TO HARVARD

"The Hispanic Challenge", a 12-page excerpt fromHarvard Professor Samuel P. Huntington declares Hispanics, Mexicans specifically, are a cause for concern to all real red-blooded Americans. It seems to be an intellectual piece. But you soon realize Huntington's arguments are circularand his data refutes his own conclusions! Don't waste time reading the 12 pages of propaganda. I've done the reading for you.

His opening paragraph: The persistent inflow of Hispanic immigrants threatens to divide the United States into two peoples, two cultures, and two languages. Unlike past immigrant groups, Mexicans and other Latinos have not assimilated... rejecting the Anglo-Protestant values that built the American dream. The U.S. ignores this challenge at its peril.

His next to last paragraph: The transformation of the United States... would not necessarily be the end of the world; it would, however, be the end of the America we have known for more than three centuries. Americans should not let that change happen unless they are convinced that this new nation would be a better one. Huntington's last paragraph is a real doozy!Keep reading and you'll see!

In a nutshell, this article says: There are so many Mexicans, ummm, Hispanics that they are taking over- our culture. They are a threat to what it means to be an "American". Therefore they must be urged to assimilate or else they must be stopped, especially that Spanish chatter, or America, as we know it for the last couple of hundred years, will be changed FOREVER! Fighting Deportation

I.N.S. vs. State Law vs. Federal Law Lopez, a Mexican national living in South Dakota, was convicted of aiding and abetting the possession of cocaine. According to INS, an "aggravated felony" is deportable.
Well, the crime Lopez was convicted of is a felony-only under South Dakota law but ...only a misdemeanor under the federal Controlled Substances Act. So can he be deported or not?

The question went in front of the U.S. Supreme Court. December 2006, the Court ruled 8-1 that a drug crime must be a felony under federal law in order to count as an "aggravated felony" for purposes of the INA, and therefore deportable.

Now there's Mory-Lamas, Native from Peru has been in custody since 2004. In brief, Mory-Lamas has been in detention for the last four years fighting deportation.

According to, H. Nelson Goodson from El Conquistador Newspaper - Mory-Lamas ... has already served his sentence for the conviction of possession and remains incarcerated (detention) by U.S. Immigration. Why hasn’t the U.S. Department of Justice resolved Mr. Mory-Lamas case? In this case, Mory-Lamas should be afforded the same legal rights provided by [the Lopez case].
